It's nice

Very nice and usually nice calm waters. It can get pretty busy on public holidays and school holidays though!

Immediately south of the main harbour area divided by a breakwater this curved beach has a wide expanse of sand and with the large shark net is safe for swimming. Unfortunately it's exposed to the southerlies which regularly blow and the sea can often rough up so if you want calm and shallow waters you need to visit the popular... More

The sand is beautiful, and the water is very clean. There is ample parking along the road. The lifeguards do a great job.

Beautiful sandy beach with great surf and a large area with a shark net for safer swimming. There are showers and changing rooms just by the beach and Hillary's boat Harbour is just up the road if you feel hungry

This beach is fantastic for early morning walks, it is so clean and has recently had shark safety nets installed so no worries when you're in the water.

Perth beaches are the best, and this one now is at the top. The newly installed shark net provides a safe environment for relaxing swimming, as well as more serious ocean swimming. The surf lifesavers are an added bonus. Parking is close and the lawn area is a great spot for a picnic or barbecue.

The beach is always busy and very clean. The surflife savers flagged area very reassuring especially when you've got kids in the sea with the rips in the area and the newly installed mesh to protect against sharks. The beach has great parking and well maintained BBQ's for use. The various different grass areas are great for picnics playing sports... More

Fully protected for people and marine life. Swim with peace of mind at this beach. It's also located next door to the famous Hillarys Boat Harbour with cafes and restaurants.... More

Sorrento ( next to Hillary's) is well worth considering if you want the all Australian Beach. The sea was calm in the morning and when the afternoon wind picked up became good for surf in the afternoon. A shark net makes this beach appealing. Seems reasonably safe seeing there's been 13 drownings over this period in Australia. No shelter so... More
