    Indoor Fishing?? Who wouldve thought!
Despite the fact that I did not catch any fish, my girlfriend got a whopper of a Fish. It is the most unique experience I've ever had... Who is ever thought about fishing indoors? I've never thought about doing that before! I had a couple beers a great time creating memories. I'll be back for that fat carp another time! The manager was incredibly helpful and provided us a great experience the whole time!

Fun & Food - perfect for Evenings & Nights
Fun for night life and people watching! It’s very crowded but everyone is respectful of each other. Everyone waits in line until it’s their turn to order takoyaki. You don’t step on trash because everyone disposes them in the restaurants, food stalls or takes them back to the hotel. Come here for the food and lights!

A Must-See Shopping and Dining Destination
Dontonbori is undoubtedly the shopping mecca of Osaka. Stretching for miles, the area is teeming with stores, full-service restaurants, and eateries offering quick bites. As you stroll along the picturesque riverfront, boats sail back and forth, providing passengers with a unique perspective of Osaka from the water. While it's easy to spend half a day exploring Dontonbori, I highly recommend returning at night when the area truly comes alive with a vibrant, electric atmosphere that exudes a completely different vibe. Among the countless shops and eateries, be sure to check out Kani Doraku for it's crab dishes, the 10 Yen Bread (with choice of cheese or custard), and Mooken for puff pastries! They were a standout during my visit! If you see a long line with locals and natives, that's where you should eat!

Dotonbori is the epitome of vibrant nightlife in Osaka. The neon lights, bustling crowds, and delicious street food create an electrifying atmosphere. A must-visit for foodies and night owls.

We felt very safe here. There are so many people, but everyone is very courteous. No one litters which is amazing considering the numbers of people who come through, and there are no garbage receptacles. People watch and eating is what you do here. Plenty of both people and food!

It's a great place to snack on local eats e.g. takoyaki, okonomiyaki, yakitori, and yakisoba. The best part is the famous Ichiran Ramen is located here too! Very fun experience!

We felt unsafe here. My friend visited a month prior and were followed. We were also followed and the man was very persistent. It's also surprisingly dirty and overpriced. The whole area felt like being stuck in a McDonald's playscape.

Explore, enjoy the atmosphere along the river. Lovely walk. Comes alive at night. Buzzing restaurants, shopping, street food, loads of people, neon lights and billboards. Very safe, but as with any place where there are a lot of people, watch your bags.

Extremely lively and busy street and junction over the river bridge. An iconic landmark with glitzy signboards,Dotonbori is packed with tourists and shoppers.Surrounded by major shopping centres and streets, Dotonbori is a happening place, especially post sunset with neon signboards, jostling big crowd, river boating, lots of shopping but primarily heaven for foodies with varied food options.Definitely a must experience place.
