The spot is beautiful and so natural but there’s nothing much else to enjoy. Some snorkeling and dive spot maybe worth to try too (I have no time to do this time, but sure for next visit)

Nice local food on Jogashima Island. You can walk to White Lighthouse and around the beach to take sunset photos.

三浦半島の最南端に位置する島で、さながらジオパークのように、東京湾からの波や潮風によって出来た地形を興味深く観察することが出来る場所です。 ここへの移動は基本的に車ですが、公共交通機関としてバスも通っています。但し、城ケ島への直通は本数が多くないため、本数が多い『三崎港』止まりのバスに乗って、終点の三崎港からのんびり漁港を見ながら歩いたりサイクリングで行くのも手です。 島は北側と南側で様相が全く違います。北側は漁港になっており、土産物店や食堂が立ち並びますが、南側は自然の様相むき出しで、建物が全くと言っていいほどありません。東京湾からの波や潮風による浸食による海食崖が連なり、島の自然の成り立ちを見て学ぶにはうってつけのスポットが多数あります。その代わり、車や自転車などは乗り入れることが出来ません。歩き回る際の服装や靴には気を付けなければなりません。 夏は一部で海水浴が出来る場所がありますが、ほとんどの場所では海食崖は高く、さらにほぼ毎日のように波が高いため、海に飛び込んだりするとあっという間に波にさらわれます。身の安全のため、決められた場所で海水浴を楽しむべきでしょう。 The island is located at the southernmost top of Miura Peninsula. I took a bus to reach Jogashima using the misaki maguro discount ticket which allows unlimited bus rides. This place is fun to explore, but lots of climbing as well. The lighthouses and the scenery, people picnic as well.
