Tokyo Big Sight is Tokyo's No. 1 exhibition venue where various exhibitions are held all year round. It is not uncommon to have multiple exhibitions held simultaneously in the East and West Wings, and the area is always crowded with visitors.

Visited Tokyo Big Sight for a trade show and it is quite easily accessible on the Yurikanome line.
The architecture is pretty interesting and worth a couple of photos. There is also a decent cafeteria on the ground floor that serves beer and the usual udon and rice dishes.

Hmmm... Tokyo Big Sight..... sounds interesting. It's a bl@#$y convention cetnter!
Yep, didn't do any homework on this one and we walked to a convention center. There is a tower with a viewing platform but apart from that, the only reason to go here is because you're a convention delegate. Granted it is some interesting architecture and will appeal to those interested in large modern steel and glass structures, but that's about it. So, rather disapointed because we had seen lots of signs and advertising for the "Tokyo Big Sight", we went to one side of it to take the Tokyo Bay ferry from the Ariake Pier and..... that was closed, not running. That's it, we're out of there. We hopped on the metro and went one stop up to the Aomi station with Venus Fort and the Ferris Wheel. Now that was a good view!
So, just go past this one and don't feel that you have missed anything. You haven't.

Is this a time saving super helpful review because we learnt the hard way so you don't have to? If so, console us with a helpful vote, check out our other reviews and maybe follow us to see what happens next!

Currently visiting this wonderful structure for a lengthy work assignment and I'm blown away by how large, impressive and well-run it is.

worth a visit for the architecture alone. this is the place where the international anime festival of Japan is held. there is a hotel on the grounds that is connected to a food court and has some great views. please note it is incredibly easy to get lost during the anime festival, but there are very helpful guides.

I travelled to Tokyo on business, in fact I would attend an exhibition held at the Big Sight. The exhibition center is huge; there were many exhibitors in the pavillions, and a large number of people visited the Big Sight. However, due to its size, it looked as if the place was sort of empty. But it wasn´t. An amazing state-of-the-art modern architecture, a building with enormous windows, escalators that led everywhere. Vending machines, convenience stores, coffee shops and whatever you may need, you would definitely get it. The Big Sight is quite away from Tokyo itself, but two metro lines are only a couple of minutes on foot, and can take you to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge in a sigh. I would definitely attend another exhibition at the Big Sight!

This is the cleanest exhibition center of the world!
Everything is arranged perfectly, with all small details like automatic lockers for small items and cloak service for larger luggage, soft but effective air conditioning and ventilation.
The toilets are as clean as in five stars hotel, at end of a busy exhibition day.
There are many restaurants offering every taste.
Only the service bills for a carpet and electric power are shockingly high, designed and printed so nicely, looking like a stock certificate of electric company?
