It is one of two at the top end of the Sumida park-east side and not as impressive as its neighbor but definitely worth a visit. Go down river for one temple and two shrines and the best is the Ushujima Shrine neat the Kototoi...More

This temple is famous for Sakura-Mochi, and one of the 7 lucky gods of Sumida. 桜もちで有名な長命寺。 隅田川七福神のひとつでもあり新年早々賑わっていました。 御朱印帳か色紙を持参した方が良さそうです。

Temple place of worship for residents of Japan, and has various ornaments and unique architecture. Buildings and land area used is not too large when compared with the great temples and other famous in Japan.
