This was the ABSOLUTE WORST activity I booked during my week long trip to Japan. The redemption instructions said to go to the meeting point (a restaurant) and 9 am. My daughter and I got up early and had to take 2 subway lines to get there a few minutes early. It was closed. Waited 30 min and walked over to next door shop and was told that the restaurant does not open till 1130 am.

We contacted the booking site and had the agent cancel the activity. The vendor then had the audacity to refuse refund because it was within the 48 hr cancellation window! It was not our fault. They didn't honor the meeting time and we wasted time getting there for NOTHING. The booking agent tried all numbers listed and no one answered.

DO NOT TRUST THIS VENDOR/ACTIVITY.!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I had such a unique and very educative time where we got to learn the basics of making sushi! For anyone who wants to level up their sushi game at home or just want a fun experience!

I really do recommend you try this! Also, the chef knows English and there is a translator present as well! Overall a very nice atmosphere and loads of fun!
You will definitely remember this experience from your trip to Japan!

Even for me who has lived here for a few years has never been this excited to do sushi 🍣 with real sushi chefs!
I would recommend anyone to go and try it out, Japanese citizens or tourists, this was really fun and the sushi was amazing!

Super professional and funny hosts that knows what they are doing!

The technique of how to make sushi, the story behind the sushi pieces and fun facts. It's a nice way to truly get into the culture from a new perspective.

I will also recommend not eating too much before coming, you will be eating a lot of delicious food and end up feeling very full in the end. There will be no lack in the presence of amazing food.
