Nice bridge full of history. You will see his bridge when goin to the imperial palace. Spend abt 5-10 minutes on this site. Great to pose pics on social media.

It is a pity that this historical landmark is hidden under an awful highway. Very noisy place. And the river below is polluted

During our recent visit to Tokyo, my husband and I spent our last afternoon in Nihombashi shopping. Great walking district with amazing department and speciality stores. Lots of coffee shops like Excelsior Caffé.

The plus is this is an historic landmark in Japan. During the Edo period, it was the point from which all road distances were measured, and it marked the starting points of different 'pilgrimage' routes to Kyoto, as memorialized in Hiroshige's woodblock prints: 53 stages...More

We really enjoyed wandering around these neighbourhoods although not much fun in this hot and humid summer. But always something to see and we have not been.dissapointed with the food. Excellent trip.

We routed ourselves this way from the airport so we had all our bags with us and could have enjoyed it more without the luggage. Still...worth it.

This is a bridge for those who are interested in history. The Japanese roadway started here and yet there is very little to tell you about this bridge. Nice to take a picture of but that's about it.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
