This free gallery houses rotating exhibitions of contemporary Japanese artists. The current exhibition is the fifth and final exhibition by members of the Seventh Tsubaki-kai (an artists’ exhibition group created in 1947 as part of the Shiseido Gallery’s reopening after the 2nd world war) and features paintings, photography, sculpture and a beautiful performance dance piece. All print materials in the gallery are in Japanese only, but you can find out more about the works and artists by visiting their website (where all information is translated into English).
