What a great way for children to learn about science and crafts. There are lots do hands on items for children and adults, to try. Well worth a visit if you have children.

It is a Science museum which is good for kids from 4 to 12 yrs old. There is no admission fees. There are many Science experiments and can keep the children entertained for a few hours. There is no café / restaurant in the museum.

My twins are almost 12 and still enjoyed this place. There is a full size steam engine outside they climbed on. Inside were the usual physic investigation games found in most science exploration museums. The kids could investigate colour, light, electricity, magnets, mirrors, solar power...More
