The building exterior is deceiving. There are only about 4 floors that you can visit. It’s informative and has some great historical references. However, it could have more artifacts and possible include more details on the daily lives of people throughout the different periods.

If you visit the Osaka Castle, it would be worth your while to visit the museum which is just outside the perimeter of the castle park. The museum pieces are intelligently curated and grouped according to time period.
