Its actually situated in Universal Citywalk and has a handful of shops selling only takoyaki in it. Personnel of the shops facing outside walkway can be a bit suck up, I personally prefers those on the inside, particularly the one beside the souvenir shop. I...More

We went out of our way to get here so we could try all the "many different kinds of takoyaki" that we heard about. It was to our great surprise that there wasn't a whole lot of choices. All the booths offered pretty much the...More

A place for quick bite. Too many choices of Takoyaki. Do not know which one is the authentic Takoyaki. Taste wise not surprising

It's not a museum as you'd expect. It's basically a place where you have choices of various different takoyaki fillings. You order by vending machine selection and they make your choice freshly. It's quite an experience given we've never had anything other than octopus pieces...More

Nothing much here except stalls selling takoyaki and there is even a shop that sells everything takoyaki - takoyaki badges, chips, t-shirts, etc.

Misleading to us that it was called a 'Museum', there was nothing there but a few stalls selling takoyaki. Skip that and go for the souvenir shop downstairs!

different takoyaki varieties from different vendors....all selling takoyaki. I thought I would see the history of this dish...as somthing similar to the nissin ramen museum. The takoyaki here are great although I think you can probably get them in other areas of Osaka as well.
