Kobe people say 'Nanko-san' here and feel kindly. There ae a lot of traditional events here. In my son's case, Here is the first place for him to visit. For Japanese people, First visiting shrine is very meaningful. Parents pray their child's safety and healthy...More

I do not think this is a major tourist attraction being the shrine itself, but it does have a museum in the complex for those interested in Japanese history. The shrine appears to be a working religious shrine where people take part in religious activities...More

Very interesting to see. Each shrine is so unique...we enjoyed visiting with locals to give some insight about each shrine we visited.

I went to Minatogawa shrine at new year and, while respectably crowded, it was extremely mercantile with not much of the nice atmosphere around temples at this time of year. You will find the whole lot of usual food stalls with some very decent fare...More

Notably to be an important shrine in Kobe this is one of the few shrines that is impressive, the other being Ikuta Shrine. Minatogawa Shrine 湊川神社 is located on the near both JR Kobe Station and the Kosoku Kobe Sta. (Kobe Fast Line). It was...More
