I was recommended this company as the most dedicated to whale conservation in the area. They keep to the whale watching rules and regulations. The skipper and crew are extremely knowledgeable about the whales and dolphins. The service is top quality, they offer teas and coffee before you leave, bottled water and breakfast on the boat. Then fruit when you... More

Mirissa water sorts are really the best. We saw a pair of blue whales surface about 4 times and many more. I think we had the record for numbers of dolphins - must have been over 200 . The captain got us into a great position to see everything , but not to close to cause the whales stress. The... More

We have chased sightings of whales and dolphins for years and were beginning to wonder if they were a myth. Early start and a slightly bumpy 2 hour ride out to sea. Everything was going as expected; an empty ocean. Then a water spout in the distance and a first blue whale sighting followed by 5 or 6 more, amazing.... More

It was a solo adventure that I took which is definitely one of the best moments in my life! I didn't feel unsafe or uncomfortable for a minute thanks to the wonderful people from Mirissa Water Sports & Mirissa were very hospitable. We took off from the Habour by 6.30 AM & sailed in to the ocean for around 2... More

We were up at 4.30 to travel to Mirissa others left their hotels much earlier. So it makes for a long day especially as you spend around 2 hours getting near to the whales. But that's the way it is. And when you see the whales it makes the early start all worthwhile. We were lucky and saw 4 whales.... More

We saw at least two blue whales on out trip. The sea was rough but the staff were all very helpful to those feeling sick. We also had Chatara a film star on board making a documentary so that was exciting. We had to sail almost 15 nautical miles to see the whales but they were magnificent!

Excellent whale watching trip. On the way out. We were treated with a fresh omelet, had great observations of Blue whales, a manta ray, tuna jumping out of the water and flying fish. This all, with respect for the sea and without disturbing the whales.

I've always wanted to see these wonderful creatures and never had the opportunity. During our honeymoon our tour guide mentioned this and we took this opportunity. We arrived at around 6:30 in the morning, we were offered tea and coffee as well as motion sickness tablet which were complimentary, (and in our case this was greatly needed). It took us... More

Dear Mr. Ben, Your review says it all and thanks for being such a humble guest of ours. As you mentioned, we were doing evening tours but later realized that it doesn't seems to be successful as we do it in the morning. Nevertheless, not to disturb whales and their freedom. Hope to see you again in Mirissa ! More

Had an amazing morning out looking for whales. It took us about a couple of hours until we spotted some, and they were really amazing to see in real life. We stayed in the area for a while (keeping a respectful distance from the whales) watching them come up for air, spouting and then splashing their tails once they dive... More
