We are a local family, providing environmental and sustainable whale watching in Mirissa, Sri Lanka since 2008. We are very keen on protecting the whales and also have been doing research about them for many years now. We are very proud that we are recommended in the new Sri Lankan lonely planet and by so many users of tripadvisor. For bookings please send us an email (anytime), give us a call (between 2 pm and 8 pm) or visit our office in Mirissa Harbour (2 pm to 6 pm). Our price is 6000 LKR for adults and 3000 LKR for kids. Small kids (< 6 years) are free of charge. A refund of 50% is given if we do not see any whales on the day of your trip. Please help to protect the whales!

Raja and his team showed real professionalism and a genuine respect for the whales - unlike many others. We had an incredible experience, one suggestion although im not sure as to whether this would disturb the whales would be to invest in a cheap drone...More

My review pretty much echoes that of many others on this page. Raj and his business practices are shocking and he should not be in the business. Almost everyone apart from a few of us with strong stomachs were vomiting and sea sick including children...More

Undeniably the most professional company we have come across in Sri Lanka. We've been travelling for 2 months and Raja is hands down the most customer-centred business we've encountered. A really wonderful trip with delicious food, impressively knowledgable and considerate staff on board, and a...More

Most, if not all of the local tour touts, organisers and companies will strongly attempt to get you to book with rival operators claiming – same boats/ same sea/ /same whales but cheaper. If you stick to your guns, then they will reluctantly quote for...More

Excellent value, although more expensive than many other competitors. But we were about 8 on the big boat, while another one was crammed with people. So definitely worth the extra amount. Very professional behaviour towards approaching the whales, we saw several blue wales and different...More

Apparently it is still a good time to see the whales and possibly dolphins still. Cost is about 6000 Sri Lankan rupees. You can contact Raja himself by email and he responds very quickly! Hope that helps!
