It is a very beautiful park with jungle area for hiking. Children's play area is nice and safe. I really enjoyed the visit with my family.

I'd recommend this park to any nice family. It was really clean and well maintained.
We had a complete lawn to ourselves for a picnic at the bottom end pf the park.
Just be aware the cafe closes at 4pm along with the toilets. I'm not calling them for that because it clearly wasn't busy enough for a cafe to stay open later.
We didn't spot it but there is a car park that charges by the buildings at the boating lake at the top end and just to the East I think there would normally be a free car park but it's currently a COVID test site but you'd need to check.

My husband and I took my friend's 3yr old last week and we all had a great time. The park is clean and tidy, children's play area has plenty of things to go on. The cafe is a nice place to relax. Ice cream van near the play area was good. Swans on the lake at this time of year was nice to see. Will definitely visit again, maybe when it's a bit warmer!!

Not been to Stamford park for quite a while. We decided to take the Dog somewhere different. Nice afternoon and the Park was reasonably busy. Looks great when you haven't been in since the kids were young. Spent about an hour walking round and the little shop was great for tea and biscuits. Worth a visit again

Visited to participate in parkrun. The park is a mix of wooded area and maintained beds. Lots to do - kid’s play area, cafe. Across the road, there’s a boating lake and wooded trail area around the small lake. Great for families with kids.

Stamford park is a lovely place to visit. I go with my grandchildren, who can run, play ball games, sandplay, look for fairies in the lower section of the park, enjoy the water fountain, pet's corner, all for zero pounds. forgot the swings and other play equipment all for zero pounds. There are other facilities like the train or the hosts these are charged. The ICE Cream Man is the nicest guy you should wish to meet, he has served my grandchildren since they were in their buggies, always has time to ask how they are. Highly recommend this park to young and old. Forgot the elderly, they can walk in the flower gardens, watch the bowling, just people watch (this is my pastime). ENJOY.

Lovely day to come to park , plenty of parking even on busy days , £2 to park all day at side of boating lake . To go on boats its £5 for 20 mins. The park itself is a lovely little park , plenty of ice cream vans a cafe etc.
Plenty to do for children and toddlers . Has water features for them to play in like water fountains . Lovely to have a pic - nic and sunbathe . Bowls , tennis ect for older people/teens and a little animal enclosure on the park too . Pretty gardens with lovely flowers . Be nice in Autumn too .

Great Park, well looked after. The walks are great. Kids loved the train ride and bouncy castle. Finished off with an ice-cream.
Easily could take a picnic and spend the day here. Water feature for kids.

Sorry no Gym. But they hold extreme fitness sessions Tuesday and Thursday at 19-00 and 10-30 on Sunday morning. Split into 3 levels of ability. Really well attended.
What is the parking like here? Would you say it was suitable for disabled users? Thanks in advance.

I’ve only parked on the Street, there is a few entrances, and is pathed so you can get about, cafe and toilets as well.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes dogs are allowed but on a lead although they are not allowed in the cafe, only guide dogs. There are tables outside so you are ok if the weather is fine.
