Beautiful view, way above the surrounding. Very nice coffee shop. The remaining of the bunkers is also worth a visit.

Mount Bental was interesting because of its geographic location, its elevation, the large bunker on top and its beautiful view of Syria. The United Nations soldiers stationed up there represent the tension ever present.

Drive up to the top and look down on Syria and Israel from this strategic bunker. Once you've been up there, you'll better understand the reluctance of Israel to return this land to Syria.

Mount Bental provides breathtaking views of Israel's borders and Syria. Explore the trenches, traverse the bunkers, and speak to the UN observers. There is also a cafe seconds away.

A really intesting site, with an old Israeli bunker & impressive panoramic views over the Israeli countryside & across the border into Syria. Make sure you listen to the loud-speaker narrations as you look around & you can also ask questions to the lookout guard...More

Besides mount Hermon this is the highest peak. To the west you can see from Mount Bental the Hula valley and Upper Galilee mountains. You can see also a big portion of the Golan Heights to the south and north. To the east you clearly...More
