By Australian standards this is the worst value for money that I have found in Phuket.
Cost me 960 baht (about AUD$40) for 960 gm of nuts.
Everything else in Phuket is much cheaper by Australian standards.
I would not recommend this place to Australians
It may be better value for people from other countries.

We stopped off at the Cashew Nut Factory while on a shore excursion from our cruise ship docked in Phuket. I love cashews but have never seen them being grown. This factory has a large cashew tree in front of the place, where you can see them growing. I found this very interesting

The factory also shows you how the nut is removed from the front. There are also different favoured cashew nuts and dried fruit that you can sample here.

The facility also has good toilets as well.

Disappointing. There was very little explanation about growing and processing the cashew nuts. The tasting was done so quickly you could barely keep up and in the shop, the assistants followed you around within a metre trying to get you to buy. Not pleasant experience.

So worth a visit! The staff are so attentive, friendly & do not pressure one to buy!
The store is super clean & the products displayed well. You are offered a sample of all the different flavoured cashew nuts & you can not resist. They also have souvenirs at a good price. So glad we went there

This is a cashew nut shop. The only process experience you encounter is the splitting of the shell to expose the nut. I would have loved to see the entire process from splitting to drying to sorting to flavoring to packaging. The tasting task is robotic and planned to be done in a few minutes to allow you to move on to purchase the packed nuts. My visit was part of a city tour, so I did not have an option, but if you do, rather do more exciting things in the city.

We watched 2 ladies work the cashews out of there shells. They have to wear gloves as the nuts are covered in a substance which would burn their hands. They process about 10kgs each day. We then saw how them process and flavour them, everything from garlic to chocolate.

Happened to be in the Chalong area & was wanting some cashews which are commonly found in Phuket. The factory closes at 5pm. TAKE NOTE!!
We arrived just at closing but they entertained us nonetheless & were all smiles. We saw the tree ( with fake cashew fruit) and learned all about the plant - the many uses from leaves to the discarded shells. Yes in between they brought us the different flavours of nuts. Yes they are slightly more pricey but at least they are fresh. Only downside they only sell canned nuts which is wasteful & a bummer to pack.

Totally waste of time to visit. Staffs are busy pushing you to buy their products.
Upon entering the so called factory there is a lady showing how to remove the Inner skin off from the cashew nuts. There a machine running packing of nuts.
Very expensive nuts.

I always come here to buy Thai cashew nuts coated with many different flavours. The price is a bit expensive (180 baht for small can) but it is their flavours that lures me here. Best to book a Phuket half day city tour to come here. The company doesn't seems to have a website.

17? Different flavours to choose from so many tasty options! Tom yum and bbq were top faves. we did enjoy the brief stop here with our guide i don’t know how i thought they grew previously? perhaps I was just always enjoying them too much to think about it haha

Was a nice stop to learn about how they grow how they are graded and taste some great flavours
