Having just one day in Cozumel after getting off the cruise ship and walking through the terminal with its numerous stores - we decided to walk along the front. At least there was a flute breeze that day.
Along the front pass the ferry terminal you come to the coral reef monument . Which I’m sure if the fountain is switched on would look impressive.

Definitely stop and see the monument. It is a beautiful tribute to what Cozumel is famous for - beautiful seas and fabulous diving!

This for me was really interesting.
Not seen anything like it on any of my travels.
Great for taking photos with family or friends with this as a backdrop.

At night this is a water fountain with lights. Cool place for a photo opportunity, or to just sit and enjoy the scenery.

This is a beautiful monument to the coral reefs. It has 2 scuba divers diving the reefs as the water sprays from above. They are surrounded by fish and sea life and all around this sculpture you will find various animals along the bottom and up it. Very pretty. At night it lights up and changes colors. It's a very popular place to take pictures at and the backdrop is the sunset and it's located along the water front. Definitely one of the best sculptures along the water front.

This monument is a true testament to the artistic merit of the Mexican people. To stand beneath it and have a photo with the sunset behind is a lasting memoryl

This is gorgeous when the fountain is running at sunset. It is by far the best sculpture we saw along the waterfront. There are others spread all along the waterfront but this one was just beautiful and our favourite.
Found right in town near the ferry terminal, you can't miss and once you see you'll understand why it's one of the most photographed on the island.

This place is nice, right on the water and the water feature changes color at night. Best statue area downtown I found this far.

Very pretty at night. Great depiction of how the reefs and the divers interact. Romantic spot to sit in the evening and watch the sun go down.
