I visited to taste and purchase some wine.. I was the only person there as harvest had started . But the person was absolutely fantastic. Opened up the tasting area, told me about the wines and the choices and was so welcoming .. I cannot rate highly enough the experience and also allowed me to visit the gardens and see the stunning chateau … oh and the wine tastes very fine too , visit if you can is my summary …

Wow what a surprise. Just outside of Pezenas in the town of Montagnac is the Chateau St. Martin de la Garrigue. We arrived early on Sunday afternoon and were the only ones there. The manager of the property was so hospitable. He gladly allowed us to sample his wonderful wines and then took us on a tour of the property. We were blown away by firstly the extent of the wine making operation and then secondly by the Chateau itself. Im not sure if everyone gets the full tour or if we were just lucky but even just getting a tour of the wine making operation and the storage rooms was quite outstanding. If you are in Meze heading to Pezenas or v.v. you'll pass right by the enterance. By all means take a little detour and enjoy!
