Is this the same as Aventura Cueva Ventana? i think it is. They are currently closed and it might be permanent (Hope not). They built a view walkway and word is they didn't have permits to do that. If it's open, please go! it's so breathtaking. IF it's not, try Camuy River Cavern!

The staff was professional and courteous. Easy to book. We truly enjoined the tour. Natural beauty! Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. If you enjoy nature and a hike, we recommend it! Give yourself extra time to arrive from San Juan. We initially had a 50 minute drive and it took us 1.5 hours to arrive.

Good tour for locals. I would not recommend a day trip for tourists if time is precious and you don’t have a car. Cost is $20. Tour is around 1 hour. Our tour guide was wonderful. Happy we were tourists and explored the caves. I really enjoyed the history. Reservation recommended. Bar/food next to ticket booth. Visit the beach after. It is gorgeous!!!

Wow what a beautiful tour visit. Our tour guide Carlos was SUPER informative. He had amazing knowledge on the caves and the Cave window was extremely breathtaking. The fee was
$19pp totally worth it. Sneakers and long pants are highly recommended as you pass many plants and the floor depending on weather may be slippery/muddy. Also take rain gear as The weather is unpredictable in these areas. It rained on and off the day we visited BUT IT WAS STILL AMAZING. Definitely recommend it. Don’t arrive too early as we arrived an hour early and we waited until 5 minutes before tour began to fill out our waiver and put on our hard hat. My teenage 14 yo daughter enjoyed it. My husband and I absolutely loved it. Once in a lifetime experience. We also saw bats in the caves. They give you a flashlight on part of the tour so that you can look at the rock formations.

Did an early tour (90 min) and had a great time with our guide Misael. He did a wonderful job of doing everything in English and Spanish. Even if he spoke Spanish to others he would explain their question and tell us what he said in English. This was nice because it was usually about things we wanted to know as well. Learning about the caves and bats was good, but of course the “window” and photos with that were fantastic! He gave us plenty of time to take all the photos we wanted.
Tips: wear closed shoes (uneven ground, rocks and stairs), hair a way that a hard hat will be comfortable, and take good camera.

I highly recommend this tour. Especially, if you enjoy the outdoors and learning about the ecosystem in Puerto Rico. Our tour guide, Misael was clearly passionate about his job and funny as well. He definitely made the tour an extremely memorable and unique experience. I recommend scheduling an early tour. The walk is totally doable and not too physically challenging. Wear comfortable sneakers (and some you don’t mind getting dirty) and bring water!

Cueva Ventana located in Aricebo Puerto Rico is a place everyone should visit while on the island. What an awesome experience from start to finish. The staff at Cueva Ventana are extremely professional and very knowledgeable concerning the history of the caves and the forest that is traversed during the hike to the caves. Our guide was at the top of his game, as he shared the names of many of the birds and other wildlife living in the forest, he even called out with two different bird calls and the birds answered back.
As you ascend on the first of the two caves you will be in complete awe as the cave seems to swallow you up. After a 200 foot walk through, you descend into the main cave and once through and to its end point and opening, you are rewarded with the most spectacular view of the valley below, and yes, your guide will share some interesting history with you concerning the caves. Please don’t be steered away from touring Cueva Ventana thinking it may be a difficult hike, as it is not. Most people should have little to no difficulty venturing to and from the caves, as a matter of fact, my wife and I were in the first tour back since the Covid-19 pandemic had closed the tour, so consequently as part of the reopening all quest had to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and even with a mask on no one seemed to have had any trouble during the hike. I highly recommend Cueva Ventana for children, as I’m sure they will have the experience of a life time, and be sure to take plenty of pictures and videos. Do yourself a favor, get back to nature and enjoy this fantastic experience, you won’t be disappointed.
