2-28 Peace Memorial Park commemorates the dispute between the local people and the Taiwan people and the Kuomintang. in 1947. The outcome was economic, in the end, in favor of the Taiwanese. The Park is worth a visit, the Park is near the Taipei Main Station. The Musem is very interesting.

I didn’t realize this park’s tragic commemoration until after visiting on my trip, but now it makes my experience here even more fulfilling. The paths through this modest green space near CKS Memorial Hall are well-kept and peaceful, where locals practice Falun Gong and kids play and run. There are countless monuments and statues to respect. I highly encourage all visitors to cut through 228 Peace Park en route to the Memorial Hall and other destinations.

I love this park, when i went to Taipei, i visited this place a lot because it was near my stay, at the first time when i took waking tour but it was closed maybe because announcement of the new president-event. This park had a lot things to do, like jog, just sit, read book, mini concert or just saw animals (i found many things here). This place was comfortable and peaceful!
