...who had ever owned a set of lego or building blocks.

It is small and would take maybe an hour of your time for some entertainment for the kids and some interesting trivia for the adults/young at heart. I learned something and had a great quality family time. Entry includes a small drink and a postcard that can be sent out free of charge within Taiwan.

It's not a very big place. However, it does have lots of toy brick displays, which is not limited to Lego brand only. A mandarin-speaking guide brought us through various sections and explained the special features of some displays. Once you stepped out to the retail area, you cannot go back in.

Other than the simple DIY session at the end, young children may find the place a bit boring and uninteresting.

This place is not big, could be covered in 20-30 minute if you bother to find the answers to their activity sheet. You could also stamp on the activity sheet at each station. They display many interesting brick structures and also different types of bricks not confined to LEGO. At the end of the exhibition, you could also purchase non-lego bricks which are also unique and not commonly found. The last activity is the DIY keychain and paper brick making for us. Nice place to drop by if you have the time or if it is raining and you need an indoor place.

This place is good for some photos and for the kids to have fun. It is next to the Institute of Yilan County History. Worth a visit.

We went as a group of 15 people ranging from 2 years to 65 years old. We all had a great time at the brick art museum. The museum itself was small, but we enjoyed viewing many different statues built by lego, and learning the history about the blocks. We spent around 30mins at the museum, and spent another 30mins doing DIY which was included in the ticket. Ticket also includes 1 drink at the cafe. When we were done with the DIY, we went outside to the grass area where children had fun running around, and they also had lego stations for people to play.

Brilliant display of exhibitions made of lego or building blocks including some glow in the dark. Totally fascinating. The museum has a DIY session towards the end as well as a play table outside. My son and his father loved it. A must see!

Its is museum not just about Lego but the history of building blocks and the other brands as well. It took them 30 years to complete all the pieces in display. Its amazing pieces are really an art and not just a toy for kids. The guides who explains in chinese are really passionate as well. Some of the pieces are from international masters. Even though the entrance fee of NT200 per pax, it includes a DIY simple building blocks souvenirs. My children enjoyed it and I did too.

Give yourself time to understand each piece of art even though the museum is small.
