A very scenic cable car ride to the top of the mountain where there are many tea houses to enjoy a meal or drink. The cable car or gondola ride is very affordable and children under 6 travel for free.

It was a hot afternoon but so worth it looking the view inside the cabin/car. You can see Taipei City with lots of trees and the Taipei 101 from afar. Went to Taipei Zoo first, then rode a shuttle to Maokong cable station.

Only 120 ntd to reach the highest station. there are few shops selling tea and eateries. You can drink tea and go hiking or walk at the trails.

The Maokong Gondola offered us great views of Taipei. At the top, you get off and walk around . Restaurants, tea shops and coffee shops are everywhere.
