The area
Neighbourhood: Luzhou / Sanchong District
There are many temples surrounding Luzhou district. Baoyo Temple is a wooden temple built during the early establishment of Luzhou. The annual Royal Chifuwangye tour and blessing activity are alive and boisterous with drums, while the Yonglian Temple worships the venerable South Sea Guanyin Buddha. It began as a modest monk house which grew into the resplendence of today. If you enjoy visiting relics, do not miss the Luzhou Li Family Historical House. Preserved in the century-old residence are many precious artifacts. In addition, the oldest market in Luzhou dating back a hundred years, the Luzhou temple night market boasts traditional family recipes worthy of taste. As for Sanchong district, it is filled with sports and leisure parks such as picture and check-in hotspot- Happy Waterpark, the wide-spanning city green land- Taipei Metropolitan Park are both places to go for leisure. The vintage atmosphere of the Sanchong air force first village takes a peek at the time of dependant’s village. The vibrant Chongshin Bridge tourism market and Sanhe Night Market are best choices for seeking out various daily necessities and enjoying great food.

2.Different to other night market, this place have a lot of yummy and cheap food.
3.But, this night market isn't very big,so you may not spent too long time at here.

The time-honored Sanhe Night Market in Sanchong may not be as famous as the tourist night markets in downtown Taipei, but it is closely connected with the lives of local Sanchong people. There are many snack bars with more than 30 years of history, as well as daily necessities and clothing stalls, which are quite easy to browse. It is open every night and is very popular with locals. It is quite lively. Near MRT Taipei Bridge Station, transportation is convenient.

Found this place by accident as it was just around the corner from our accommodation and we were very pleased.
Compared to the more famous night markets like Shilin and Raohe, this night market was equally interesting, but less swamped by tourists. Most of the other patrons we met on that Friday night were locals.
Prices were much better than at the bigger night markets. The variety of food on offer was equally diverse. Good balance between food stalls and merchandising, clothes shops and electronic goods. There were also arcade games.
Highly recommend.
Closest MRT is the New Taipei Bridge.

Many stalls selling essential products and clothings. But if you here to look for food, you would be disappointed. This night market is unlike Raohe, probably only 30% of the stalls are selling food.

Great food, amazing shopping, easy access from Red MRT Jiantan Station. From crossing the street at the large scramble crossing intersection to the sheer size of the market, covering many streets and alleys. Entering from the MRT Station across Jihe Road you find large line of people waiting the purchase amazing food worth the wait. Don't pass by the BQ chicken breasts because of the line up. For 80 NT$s, this is great chicken. It doesn't end there. An amazing selection of wonderful dishes line this street and more beyond. Enjoy a wide variety of different shopping opportunities within the market. Gets going later than the advertised 3:30pm atart. Some vendors are aetting up at 5:30m. A must do for Taipei

Sanhe Night Market is one of the best places to explore Taiwanese nightlife in Taipei. Not technically inside Taipei City, it is only a short Metro ride along the Orange Line. It is still a local market without much noise and chaos common in other touristy sites. The food is cheap, diverse and delicious. The xiao long bao is a must-try!
