這次再訪海岸公路，其中長虹橋是一個值得停留拍照的橋，最佳拍攝位置要往上游走一小段路，到舊長虹橋橋上，從那眺望新長虹橋最好，只見秀姑巒溪直通入海，碧海藍天，河海之間，有橋一座，豈不美哉，十分建議花幾分鐘停留一下，別快快的開過去了。

長虹橋建成於1969年，長120公尺，是台灣第一座懸臂式單拱預力混凝土橋。由遠處看，於上橋俯瞰，可見秀姑巒溪徐行入海，站在橋前可以遙望臨近的太平洋。長虹橋位在秀姑巒溪的河口，大港口、靜浦村就在南北各約五百公尺開外，現已成為泛舟活動的登岸據點。

這裡是舊長虹橋，位置在秀姑巒溪靠近上游的位置，新長虹橋在靠近出海口那，這邊已經不通行車輛，可以步行通過，但看起來沒啥整理，顯得有些破舊，不過這裡的亮點不在橋，而是遠望，從這裡眺望著新長虹橋位置絕佳，看著秀姑巒溪一路奔向大海，那新長虹橋就像一抹紅霞般橫亙而過，配上海景，確實好看，建議如果有時間的話，可以過來這裡看看這幅橋景山水畫。

站在橋上一邊是出海口，一邊是山脈的結束，這樣的風景難見能遠眺出海口的小島也非常有趣，旁邊則是新長虹橋。
