The place lack of management, overgrown weeds, overgrown lawn all over, the reservoir water seem dirty, and along the reservoir are overdeveloped with restaurants

Nice area. Name sounds like Sean Connery telling you what the bulge at the tip of a condom is. Best reservoir I saw while I was in Taiwan.

One of the important dams in northern Taiwan, with an amazing landscape, boat trip etc., definitely worth to visit.

Spent 8 yrars to be built and competed in 1964, major drinking water supply for Northern Taiwan. It is became one of the local tourist attraction through out the year, open 0800~1800 Fresh water fish is the local delicac

This is great place to bring friends who live in city centers. I visit this place 3 to 4 times a year to relax and walk with friends. This reservoir supplies water to Taoyuan city.
