Please please don’t come here. The abuse the elephants. Pull their ears.
Pole and prod. My guide was even hitting the elephant on her head. I wish I knew better that paying for this contributes to the abuse of elephants in Thailand. Absolutely disgusting

Do not go there. They abuse and mistreat the elephants and tie them up to chains. These are wild animals who deserve to be respected and loved. I was disgusted.

Terrible place that should be shut down immediately. The elephants pose with tourists or are used as ride, the rest of time they spend alone and chained to a tree!!! No doubt they use violance to train them for the rides.

We didn't go to ride or see the elephants. We have done an ATV ride the last 3 times visiting Phuket, each time we use a different track so we get to see something different each time. This track by far was the most challenging and fun. Not for a beginner as some of the track is quite difficult but the guide will help you on your ATV if needed. The cliff view was spectacular and guides were very friendly taking pics for us along the way. I would definitely do this track again.

So much elephant abuse goes on in thailand, look for an elephant sanctuary. My perspevtive is that most, if not all places that have you ride them are horroble for the animals.

Only saw the elephants from the road and they were on a hill, chained up with no water or shade. I presume they were taken across the road for the tourists to 'ride' and swim but the actual elephant camp looked atrocious

We had a great experience with the elephant bathing in the sea experience. This experience included everything we could have wanted. We fed the elephants, washed them, and rode them bareback (I don’t like the seats. I think they hurt the elephants??). The elephant lifted my girls with its trunk. We loved it. Pang Chang Kamala also provided a shuttle to pick us up from our hotel (which was outside of their normal pick up zone), and then took us to a marina where we were going next. The elephants seemed well cared for. They didn’t have any marks on them. The elephant handlers didn’t ever do anything to move the elephants but talk to them. We had a great time. I would highly recommend the bathing elephants in the sea experience.

This place is very nice. Elephant pool is new. Elephant ride was thrilling and the rider was friendly and took lots of photo for us. We had a great time. Lots of wedding when we went too.

I’m okay with riding elephants, so I’m not a fanatic. I have seen many elephant camps across Asia and India. I’ve NEVER seen such horrendous abuse. As you drive up to the entrance a large bull Ellie is chained so tightly he cannot even shuffle his feet. The chains are not padded and the poor animal’s legs are torn up. As we continue up the road we see elephants on very very short chains-unable to move, chained to concrete pads. No water. No socialization, nothing but metal chains and cuffs tightly around their legs. The pool for bathing with the elephants is a gross concrete pool that’s green and black- no one would want to get in it and certainly it’s unsanitary for the animals too. I started taking pix of it all and they yelled at me to stop. I guess they don’t want you to see how they treat the animals. Monkeys too. Small cramped dirty cages with metal cuffs around their necks. I grew up with a pet monkey- there is NO NEED for this treatment and harm. Please STAY AWAY! It is upsetting. It is WRONG.
