Lovely Chateau. Very easy to get to from Bordeaux. The host was the owner and we have a fascinating tour and an amazing lunch. Lovely and humble. The wine was delightful. Not a fancy name but exactly the type of place you want to visit in Bordeaux for a true wine experience.

We planned to look around a bit outside Bordeaux, and just came across Cerons and its area with no specific expectations. Ultimately, it become one the highlights of our stay. The chateau itself is a historic gem, preserved in a very good condition. Not to speak about the hospitality of the people working there. The tour was interesting and the wines delicate.

What a fantastic vineyard! Ms. Pia greeted us when we arrived and was very kind. Unfortunately I do not understand French, so the tour was a bit tough to understand, but that was as expected. However the Château and vineyard were beautiful. One of the best parts was meeting the owners (Xavier and Caroline) who were extremely humble and welcoming (they do speak English). They took the time to meet us personally and speak to us about the wine and their life. They also have two dogs on the property that are great at entertaining young children! The wine was fantastic and it's nice that they offer a white wine in addition to the red. Bordeaux is known for the red wine, so it was pleasant to be able to mix it up as it can become overwhelming otherwise. If there was only one Chateau that I could see again in this region, it would be Chateau de Cérons.

We had a wonderful tour here. Informative and very interesting. My favorite part was their very friendly and playful dog. We played catch for a while on these magnificent grounds. My other favorite part was the tasting! We bought some and are looking forward to extending our trip by having it back home. I highly recommend a trip to this beautiful chateau.

We visited Chateau de Cerons today as a family of five with three teenagers. Pierre greeted us all on arrival and was attentive throughout our visit. We enjoyed a lovely picnic in front of the Chateau before our tour.
The tour of the vineyard was interesting and informative and it was easy to ask questions as the group was small. We tried three wines which were all excellent and then had time to choose items to purchase.
Overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon, made perfect by Pierre.

We very much enjoyed our tour with Marie, our wonderful, knowledgeable guide. It's a gorgeous environment with fantastic wines as well! We certainly left with our 6 bottles to savour at our leisure in the UK.
We will visit again at some stage and hopefully have some food (and wine) under the trees next to the chateaux. Thank you, we will be back.

We had an amazing time at Chateau du Cerons with Marie guiding our group in an English tour of the chateau and vineyards. Later, we had a lovely picnic under the shade of the large old trees with pate, fresh strawberries and coffee (amungst others). Thank you for a great time!

Without a car, chateau is accessible by hourly trains from Bordeaux, plus a 15-20 minute walk from the station. No public busses, but cabs may be pre-arranged. Interesting explanation of process. While not noteworthy, wines were acceptable.
