Great place to sit and have a coffee and home-baked cake and watch wild kangaroos in the mango orchard below. Many travellers go up and down the East coast and the only live kangaroos they see are in zoos, but here you have a 90% chance of seeing them, as well as the spectacular and mysterious Heritage-Listed Glasshouse Mountains. Just 50 mins north of Brisbane, and 2 minutes from the main National Parks lookout.

Stunning scenery, lovely staff, great menu & reasonably priced. If you're in the area & you're not sure where to stop for something to eat or just need a drink, stop here!

We ate here mid morning- 3 adults and 2 kids. First they brought caffeinated coffee when we ordered decaf. then no bacon arrived with the scrambled eggs and bacon on toast, then my pancakes didn't arrive despite going up to the counter after half an hour and asking if they were coming. I was told they were just being made.... More

Great lookout - really beautiful views. The cafe is lovely but very overpriced. A sandwich cost $10.50 and was just bread and chicken, toasted with a bit of butter - no side salad, or anything else inside. Very disappointing. Better to pack your own lunch and just have a coffee there.

Beautiful! Stunning view, comfortable, quaint little cafe overlooking one of our the Sunshine Coast's treasure, Mt Coonowrin or Crookneck. The chicken caesar salad was very, very nice. The strip of bacon was delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit. It is a very, very busy cafe during the holidays so expect a delay with your order. The staff are welcoming.

My husband and I stopped here mid-morning last week and were very impressed.Service was friendly and efficient.I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and my husband said his walnut and date slice was yummy.Cappuccinos were good too and I felt the food was reasonably priced. The view from the veranda of surrounding Glasshouse mountains is just breathtaking.I would highly recommend this place.

Chicken sandwich and slice of cheese cake was a rip-off. $10 for tasteless sliced pieces of chicken in bread. All you can taste is the bread, For $10 you think they'd put a piece of lettuce or tomato in as well. Stand at carpark, have a look at the "view" and drive on to an affordable cafe else where.

This seemed a perfect spot to take a break on a driving day out in this beautiful area. The service was very slow, and rather amateurish, but the lovely setting made up for that. We didn't think the food looked very tempting, but the coffee was acceptable. The Glasshouse Mountains themselves are quite stunning and unique. There is a lookout... More
