Friends and I visited Lord Ayyappa's temple, Sabarimala in Nov, 2017. Had a very good and peaceful darshan. Always astonishing to find how authorities manage the rush inside the temple with meticulous planning and control. Overall, very blessed trip this year.

the crowd will be less during february. book a hotel at pamba . you can rest after returning from sabarimala and start in the morning. it is absolutely safe at any time in pampa. travelling at night will be a little risky.
