This forest is really worth the visit. We saw a lot of birds and the pathways were very good as was the viewing platform. Take at least 2 hours to do this trip. Its really very interesting and lots of birds to see.

Amazing pristine forest with a well constructed boardwalk that takes you up to the forest canopy. I had a beautiful once in a lifetime sighting of a group of Trumpeter hornbills.

Dlinza Forest and Nkandla forest are what is left of a formerly huge forest that covered the entire atea between Eshowe and Nkandla. It it very worthwhile to go there to catch a glimpse of how our nature looked like before deforestation to get firewood.
