The Forest Walkway gives a really good perspective of the forest with impressive walkways and a high elevated platform overlooking the area. Definitely worth a visit, remember birding will be best in the summer months. There are also a few walks around the forest that...More

Amazing pristine forest with a well constructed boardwalk that takes you up to the forest canopy. I had a beautiful once in a lifetime sighting of a group of Trumpeter hornbills.

Dlinza Forest and Nkandla forest are what is left of a formerly huge forest that covered the entire atea between Eshowe and Nkandla. It it very worthwhile to go there to catch a glimpse of how our nature looked like before deforestation to get firewood.

Take the long- or short walk though the forest which will take you at the most an hour... Great views of the indigenous forest and if you wish you can have a picnic (weather permitting). Also the treetop (aerial boardwalk) is breathtaking!
