This was a visit to the cafe and plant nursery only - the water gardens I will save for next trip. The cafe was superb, lovely coffee and homebaked cakes and the streamside setting on such a sunny afternoon was sublime. Very well stocked plant nursery and, the hint of what are obviously very beautiful water gardens on beyond the... More

A largish plot made magical by the owner. Multiple Mill races and ponds connected by various paths and gardens. Within the garden are multiple follies that the owner has created - a water-driven cuckoo clock atop a lookout post; a conical fountain; a small copy of Wisley's rose spiral mound; a dovecote with a water-spewing gargoyle; a must-see fernery set... It didn't bode well that the toilets had no soap and hand towels and the gents was not clean at all. The café was nice but was freezing cold and not very appealing to sit and eat any food. The garden itself was in need of a lot of attention. Only took half an hour at most to go around.... More

We visited here on Easter Monday, the weather was wet so not the best of days, however we feel that to pay £6.00 per person to go in was way too much money should have been no more than £3.00 each would be a stretch, however inside the gardens was a little quirky with some nice creative idea the bottle... So much thought and effort has been put into this place. The cuckoo clock is delightful, and the bottle building beautifully made. The owner is very talented. We visited on a chilly day, and the café was a warm haven, with excellent food.

Beautiful water gardens with something different at every turn. Lots of different plants along with follies and an unusual cuckoo clock. We even saw a pair of red kites in the next field.

Sorry but I felt £6 was a lot to pay for this ''attraction'' but clearly most visitors obviously think it good value for money, 2 or 3 quirky follies (one of which wasn't operating at the time of our visit) otherwise just a stroll through a garden albeit quite a reasonable size. The café was a café but in quite... More

At first glance, this may seem a small and insignificant garden to visit, but you really do have to see this place to appreciate it. We spent a very enjoyable few hours here and at every turn there is something more to see, with an abundance of butterflies! The cuckoo clock runs a little slow but is something to behold... More

After seeing it featured on Gardeners World, Westonbury Mill Water Gardens was high on my list of places to be visited. As soon as you arrive you feel you are somewhere different and are in for a surprise. I wasn’t to be disappointed because this beautifully choreographed water-dominated space keeps you guessing what comes next after each twist and turn.... More

Quite easy to find, just past the lovely black and white village of Pembridge. I enjoyed this watergarden although it seemed a little overgrown and in need of some attention, but then with a summer like this one everything is looking a bit like a jungle. The follies are interesting, particularly an igloo shaped one made almost entirely of bottles.... More
