You basically follow a huge amount of people and you have hardly any chance to see the stalls left and right. You need to go there because it seems to be a must but you can buy all the items somewhere else for the same...More

This market is open on Sundays. Stalls start setting up around 4pm and by 5pm it's ready to go. The stalls are a mix of local crafts and souvenirs, and food stalls. There's lots of variety and it's great for picking up gifts and souvenirs....More

The Sunday night market in Chiang Mai is fun. You can find a lot of unique stuff, not the usual touristy things. Every one speaks Chinese there.

Yes it's busy but which market isn't! What a great place to fill up on the quirky Thai gifts for loved one's back home or a few treats for yourself. There is a fantastic vibe with many street bands and singers performing on each block,...More

Huge market, amazing stuff, decent prices, only downside is it gets crazy crowded, so get here early as it really isn’t a walking street late on. It has a wide range of stuff available, (much of which you can get in the regular night market...More

A huge, clean market that goes on and on for blocks and blocks. We got there around 5:30 - it shuts down at 11:00 pm. Would suggest taking a Tuk -tuk to Wat Phrasingh (worthwhile visiting prior to the market) which is directly across the...More

This market dwarfs the already large Saturday night market so definitely get here when it opens if you want to avoid the crowds. All sorts of items on sale and plenty of good and safe street food

Sometimes referred to as the Sunday Night Walking Street, it's located in the center of the old city area and on Sunday evenings it is closed to vehicle traffic. Venders of all sorts set up to hawk their wares - food, art, crafts, music. It's...More

They start packing up around 11pm yes, but that makes it an ideal time to get a last good bargain with one of the stall owners
