The main beach of Paralia Sykia is splendid - nearly 2km gently curving beach, with beautiful, crystal clear, seas in which to swim.

Especially good is Akasti Beach Bar, at the Eastern end of the beach. Giota (sp?) is a wonderful host. Food is simple but excellent (especially the omlettes with eggs from local chickens), & there are very good Vegetarian & vegan options (vegan giros are very good indeed!). The sun beds cost five euros to rent for the day, but this includes a drink (coffee, fresh orange juice, beer, etc).

We loved our few hours at Sikia beach. It was much less crowded than some nearby beaches. It was long with plenty of space for everyone. The beach was sandy and the water warm and welcoming. We sat on sunbeds right by the water and bought coffees from the Yucca beach bar. We used their toilets which were clean and tidy. We had a very enjoyable swim in this large bay. Highly recommended!

Sykia beach is something wonderful. This beach is never crowded like other nearby beach. Long white beach with beautiful turquoise color, which is crystal clear, makes this place enchanting. Water is always warm. A great place for a complete enjoyment and relaxing vacation. Excellent for diving and snorkeling. This beach is divided into two parts Linaraki and Tourkolimnionas. At Sithonia on all the beaches there is no need to pay for sunshades and sunbeds, so we were thrilled. But that's why we ordered drinks at nearby beach bars, but not just for that reason. So it was also on this beach. The advantage of these beach is that is very well sheltered from the east winds, and you can swim freely and sunbathe without fear of wind. And the view of the opposite shore and Mount Athos is breathtaking and unforgettable experience. Food in Coral Tavern is great and with acceptable prices. I would like to point out that in the village of Sykia is an excellent market fair with a rich offer. A place to enjoy and relax, strongly recommend.

Sykia Beach is an excellent opportunity for You to enjoy. The water is crystal clear. The temperature of the water is ok (we were visiting the beach in June). The beach basically contains of two parts - first is kilometers long sandy beach, while the second (on the right side) is full with sunbeds and umbrellas. I recommend the second. You can order some drinks with fair prize.

Calm relaxing place, great food and blue water beach . If you like to travel from one beach to another , you will find all you like from simple to premium places. I wanted only to relax and to sweet so two three beaches accessible by foot were enough for me. Water is crystal clear / blue flag

Sikia beach is a very long and large beach and not crowded even in the high season. Compared with other beaches from the east and west coast of Sithonia, it seems that tourist lost interest for this generous sized beach.
It is also true that in Paralia Sikia the number of accommodation opportunities is not so generous as in other villages of Sithonia.
But on the southern part of Sikia bay there are two beaches, very small and very crowded, even the access to these beaches is a little bit hidden and also not very well signaled from the main road. These two tiny beaches are called Linaraki and Tourkolimnionas. Linaraki beach is almost twice as long as Tourkolimnionas beach and both sand strips are very narrow.
The main advantage of these beaches is that they are very well sheltered from the east and southeast winds blowing daily from the Athos Mountain.
Until noon it will be difficult to find a parking space over there because the area is very narrow, but in the afternoon you can find some, even under trees shadow. As usual in Sithonia you do not have to pay for the sunbeds, but you have to order some drinks from the nearby bars.
Water is clear and there are a few fishing boats and small vessels anchored in the bay, due to the good wind shelter provided by the high rocky right shore.
We spent the afternoon on Tourkolimnionas beach and we went for snorkeling on the right side of the beach.
We also had a very good dinner at the Korali Taverna at a very reasonable price.

Sykia is a rural place, a village with farms, small houses, and an undeveloped beach. Is a huge one, but with poor investement. The beach can become a pearl. Is not at all crowded, and in the left part, the water is half meter by a long distance. Sand is good, with no rocks.

Big sandy beach with no crowds. Peace and quiet, direct view of the Atos. The only downside, waves bring grass.
