Lovely art gallery with an extensive display. Didn’t feel pressurised to buy at all. Good prices considering the amount of work that goes into some of the pieces. I’m in awe of what these craftsmen are able to achieve, all crafted by hand, from memory and just so intricate and beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.

The gallery itself is absolutely amazing and you can purchase some really beautiful pieces to take home. They don't allow photos inside and it is hard to describe the quantity of options. They wrap everything really, really well. We had no issues with anything breaking during international transport in checked baggage.
The carving itself isn't necessarily super interesting to watch, since it's a slow process, but it is interesting to hear about. The woman who explained the process to us followed us around the store, which was kind of annoying.

Stopped here on a guided tour as we had a few moments to spare. Started off pretty cool seeing the workers make stuff but as with all of these tourist filler stops there’s not much to be seen it’s more to get you to buy something at an inflated price. Was followed around the whole HUGE shop with a constant “10% discount for you today” been said to us which was very annoying and we only bought something to stop the pestering. The pieces were very good and I’m sure the time to make them was a long time but the prices were extortionate. Left a sour taste in the mouth for the rest of the trip as you expected all stops to be the same.

Our driver took us to this local village to view the Yana Art Gallery. It was much better than expected and the quality was clearly better than similar items we’d seen in the markets. There’s a good sized gallery of woodwork sculptures for sale, but be prepared for higher prices, as the quality and craftsmanship is high. We bought several pieces in our group, and were happy they took credit cards and packaged everything very well for the long trip home. Definitwly worth a visit.

When you enter the gallery, there are several artists working on carvings, and it's cool to see them bringing life to chucks of wood. A guide gave us some information about the different types of wood that are predominately used and how things are made. The quality of the products here is definitely higher than what you find in the markets - though the prices also reflect that! Our group bought several lovely things; for me, the slightly higher prices were worth the quality of the items we found here. We enjoyed the visit and looking through the gallery very much; the only thing that wasn't as enjoyable, was the guide tagging along through the whole place. We had a few people in our group, so I managed to break away and look at things on my own a bit, but some of our group had the guide shadowing them their entire time there. Just be aware that's to be expected here.

We stopped here briefly as part of a day tour. A salesman there gave an interesting explanation of the woods they use and we could see craftsmen at work. There is an extensive shop with really beautiful carvings. The sales man accompanied me all time which I found a bit disconcerting but I think it is a way of working in Bali.
We bought a nice carving and he gave me a ten percent discount, I didn’t haggle any more although I probably could have done. Our tour guide was very pleased I bought something so may have been on commission.
I would say only stop here if you intend to buy something.
