Penduduk yang ramah dan perjalanan yang menantang adrenalin, di butuhkan seharian berjalan kaki untuk tiba di puncak dan tentunya peralatan camping yang safety. Pendakian terbaik pada bulan Mei hingga Oktober kalian akan mendapatkan cuaca yang cerah pada pagi hari di Puncak Latimojong

Bagi pemula sebaiknya harus mempersiapkan fisik yang kuat, karena medannya yang menanjak dan curam. Selain itu harus menentukan waktu pendakian yang cuacanya tidak hujan, karena bila kondisi hujan akan lebih sulit untuk mendaki.

Pendakian menuju puncak rantemario gunung latimojong sangat menantang dan cocok bagi penggemar petualangan alam bebas, segala fasilitas transportasi dan peralatan pendakian dapat di peroleh dengan penyedia jasa pendakian celebes trekking, makanan siap saji banyak di temukan di kota kecamatan baraka yang letaknya tepat di lokasi transit transportasi JEEP sebelum menuju desa terakhir sebagai lokasi pendakian. tempat istirahat sebelum memulai pendakian hanya tersedia basecamp atau rumah penduduk. mendaki puncak rantemario gunung latimojong dengan ketinggiang 3478 meter dari permukaan laut sangat hebat dan indah.
