It is a bit tough if you havent done a long distance walking before and no excercises, but with a help of very professional Guides and very encouraging ones, most manage to get to this best view point of an amazing waterfalls and naturally formed swimming pool...its really amazing experience and i was so lucky to have a Guide named Eunice who was so supportive and full of informations and even managed to encourage me to move ahead till i managed to get to the point because was my first time having such a long distance hiking...
Will always remember this and very great appreciation to My Guide Eunice!

We were very lucky to have found Halisi African Adventures. Communication with Brighton was very smooth from the outset and he was super helpful even with arrangements outside of the hike.
We did the Udizungwa hike over 2 days and 2 days Mikumi safaris and his choice of routes and accommodation was simply excellent. He was sensitive to our moods, giving us space when we needed it.
And when it came to conversation, he was as interested as he was interesting. He clearly loves his job and he's very good at it. Both our guides Said and Hassan (AKA Guacamole King) are genuine people we are happy to now call friends. Highly recommended.

We hiking at Udzungwa Mountain National park and Safari to Mikumi organized by Halisi African Adventures. Starting with the punctual pickup at the airport, to the professional morning pre-safari breafing, to the organized kite-luggage storage, everything worked according to plan and on time. A top organization.
At this point I would like to make a special mention of our knowledgeable tour guide Wilson with his extremely courteous, calm manner we felt safe and comfortable at all times. He drove us safely and was very knowledgeable about flora and fauna.
He knows his job very well and you can see that he is very passionate about it.
With his incredible knowledge about the animals, nature and culture of Tanzania.
He answered all kinds of questions or shared his knowledge with us.
We definitely recommend Halisi African Adventures.

The area named as “The paradise for Hikers”
Udzungwa workers are very friendly and helpful, also make it easier to access and enjoy the majestic attraction animals and plants.

Wonderful hike, a beautiful place for swimming under a waterfall. A guide is needed. I recommend trail the Sanje waterfall and especially with the guide Renata. Professional support all the way, she show to us many animals, beautiful places near the waterfall. Very very nice lady.

Good hike to Sanje waterfalls. The track is under the forest canopy, so you get a good rainforest feeling. We were also lucky to get 15 minutes of rain, pouring from the bucket. That completed the feeling of hiking in a rainforest. The water in the waterfall pool is refreshing. Also the red colobus monkeys. No birds though - they are either hiding high in the trees or just staying away from the hiking track. In the evening visited the local village - rented bikes and had a tour of the market, rubber plantation, sugarcane plantation etc. Was really interesting to get a feeling of the village life.

The team of Tanzania Horizon Safaris, We traveled with whole family and did book for the first time with a local travel organisation and we did not go wrong. We booked 6 Days Safari to Selous Game R, Mikumi National Park together with Udzungwa Mountains National Park.We are VERY satisfied with the trip to those parks and Luxuary Tented Camp accommodation were provided during our trip. Our driver and guide Said was excellent, He was kind, positive, supportive, drove very well, and was very clever to find animals eg Lions ( we saw more than 25 in our 6 Days!), showed a great knowledge etc, We will especially recommend him for trips!

Communication before, during and after the tour with Elizabeth (Sales & Guest Relations Manager) was wonderful, words will never be enough!. All in all, we had an amazing experience with my family, I highly recommend them.
