    Amazing Engineering!
Amazing trip from mainland across 4 islands ending at a water park. Cable car price includes entry to all rides. You can pay more for entey to a buffet lun h restaurant but can also buy other food and drink over there. Bear in mind you are captive audience so food is twice the price there.

Take your bathers (you will regret if you don’t)
An amazing experience with so many excited locals taking the cable car across the islands to visit the swimming theme park. I read some terrible reviews about the water park which lead me to believe this was worth a by-pass. Not bringing our bathers was the worst decision ever. The waterpark looked like so much fun on a very hot day 😢 The cable car is modern, clean, safe and fun with views for days - an amazing experience in a very surreal environment. I will be back

    Good experience for 1 day
We booked the ticket from hotel reception included the taxi to go to cable car station. Their station is good & cable car ride for 20mins but it is windy so our kids got scared. The view from the cable car is our favourite, we got to see so many fishing boat and small islets of An Thoi Water park at Thom island is good as well

The views are simply worth it !
Simply amazing. The views are worth it and the water park is also good. Coming back in evening, we were the only ones in the cable car and the experience was truly divine. Do try some of the rides in water park and eagle’s eye and roller coaster since that’s included in the 600,000 ticket.

    Great experience and fantastic view!
Fantastic view from the cable car and nice scenery. The tickets paid (inclusive of entrance fee for the theme park and Aquatopia Water Park) were well worth it. Ride was ok despite the strong winds.

    Was worth the trip
The cable car ride was great. Fantastic views, took approximately 15 min one way. The water park was a lot of fun so don’t forget to take your swimmers and a towel. They have lockers you can rent which I would recommend and you can rent towels too. There were some rides closed but plenty more to choose from. I would recommend going in the morning so you can spend the day there. The cable cars stop at 11.30 and resume at 1.30pm so try and get there before 11.30. The water park will close around 4.30pm to ensure everyone gets off the island by 5.30pm.

    Must Do
Incredible views from the cable car that extends for 8km and goes over 2 other islands. Once you land you get to the fun park which is really epic. You want a full day here, there’s 12 different water slides and they are all great. I ride the water slides and then had lunch and went and relaxed on the beach before heading back for more water slides. It’s very well set up. They have a pretty wild roller coaster and a few other rides. The restaurants are basic and far more expensive but that’s to be expected on an isolated island. It’s really good value at about $40 AUD per person including adventure park admission and cable car return.

    Cable car ride impressive!
Cable car is very impressive. 15mins each way. Beautiful views of the islands, coast line and fishing villages. Do a round trip only unless you are into water theme parks otherwise there is not much else for you here.

    English couple in Phu Quoc
Fantastic experience and a great water park at the island. Well worth it for the price….good value. The views are incredible and such an engineering feat. The Italianate town ‘Sunset Town Resort’ is a little bit odd as no one seems to live there, it’s a full new town but strangely empty. ???

Spectacular cable car and very good Water park
Hon Thom Cable Car is located at Phu Quoc island southern tip. It belongs to Sun World amusement park along with the Sunset village from where it starts and the Water park where the cable car takes you. The newest addition to the complex, opened for Christmas 2023 is the Kiss Bridge which is close to the start station. Speaking of the Cable Car it is really spectacular. As many said, it's the longest cable car over the sea, 8 km long. It crosses two smaller islands until it reaches the third one, where's the Water park. It can only be compared to Hong Kong Lantau Buddha cable car, but this one here has more modern and spacious cabins with around 15-20 people capacity. Beware, you CANNOT buy tickets only for the cable car. Every ticket includes entry to Water (theme) park with waves pool, waterslides, roller coaster,.... If that's not your cup of tea, have in mind they have a gorgeous beach with sunbeds included in the price, so it would be unreasonable paying the ticket only for going there and back. Take the towels from your hotel or you can rent them here. Beware also, the cable car has a pause in service daily - I think 11.30AM-1.30PM (double check that) when you cannot use it to go or come back, so plan accordingly. Likewise the Vinworld a day before, I was again surprised how the waterpark is almost empty. Again, NO waiting lines for any rides, including the most popular ones. You can go up and down, again and again as many times you want without any wait. Staff is very kind, directing you if you cannot find the way and at the same time very conscientious. They will measure and weigh you every time before letting you ride, no matter you were there 5 min before, which was little bit annoying.

"I just pass the Sun World Hon Thom cable car ,and my feelings was good for view only ,water game not interest for me . to day i would like to write my feeling of sliding through the air only, it was truly a memorable experience. I felt connected to nature and felt a freedom that no other means could compare to that I could see from above, Hon Thom island appeared with wild and majestic beauty.
Furthermore, the service on the cable car is also very good. I feel secure and comfortable knowing that they put passenger safety first. The friendly and attentive staff was also a big plus, making my experience even more impressive.
If you are planning to visit Hon Thom, I would definitely recommend you not to miss this cable car experience. It was truly an important and memorable part of my journey."

Hon Thom cable car is very impressive. There was maybe 8 adults in one car. 15 minutes each way. Beautiful views of the islands, coast line and fishing villages. There is a lovely beach if you want to chill out, but the main attraction for us was the water park. All kids would love this site so far. A MUST THING to do in Phu Quoc.

Beautiful and nice small island in Phu Quoc. There’re many games for kids here, I like “ eagle eyes game” swimming here n join all games would spend us full day. It takes 20 minutes on the cable car to reach the island, ticket includes almost of games, restaurants are so simple and just fast food or buffets on island no more choice

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out at Sun City. We caught the cable car across to the waterpark and had a very enjoyable day trying out the water slides - some are more daring than others. We didn’t make it to the theme park as we ran out of time.
Keep in mind that the cable car closes between 11:30 am and 13.30pm - we had to wait almost two hours because we were unaware. The hotels are not aware either because there were quiet a few people caught out.
Once you’re on, it’s a fabulous way to see the beaches and fishing village of Phu Quoc. It’s all very safe and temperature friendly.
If you go to the waterpark, leave jewellery behind as you can’t wear it on the slides. Nor any zippers on swimmers. Take your own towel to save having to hire one.
I wish Vietnam would start to think about all the rubbish in their waters. Plastic bags are choking their beautiful beaches and sea - this is so much more apparent when you sit up so high in the cable car.

Didn't think we were going to do it. End up enjoying it so much. Yes the view on the ride is stunning, and having access to the Amusement/Water Park and the meticulously curated botanical garden is a bonus on top of the ride.

The cable car is a great experience in itself. You travel across the water to an island which has a great water park there. The bottom of Phu Quoc where this is situated is a great area to base yourself and has many attractions to see. Is a lot newer than the top of the island.

The views from the cable car are amazing but that's it. The theme park feels old ( its not) and nothing else to do. Very overpriced
