Bhagsunag is a small holy shrine, in front of shrine is holy ‘kund’, at a lower level there are public conveniences, on the way to the shrine is plenty of shopping and food items. The approach is very narrow and steep and crowded , better take a local taxi for this trip. Beyond the temple if you trek for 1 km you will reach the beautiful and enchanting waterfall. This is a must see sight, on the way they have also tried to keep the path clean by creating huge dustbins in the shape of alphabets C H A N G E, if physically fit this is a must see sight

Bhagsunag waterfall is 1 km (15 kms walk) away from Bhagsunag temple. The right place to enjoy Waterfall is at Peace cafe. Drinking hot chai with amazing view of waterfall.
The track is moderate to easy. People with asthma and old age can easily climb. There are steps on the way. People on wheel chair unfortunately cannot go on the trip.
Please bring umbrella, waterproof jacket or ponchos with you because when you will try to have picture in front of waterfall you will get soaking wet. Or you can bring extra pair of clothes and towel with you.
This place is family friendly but please take care of your little ones because they can easily slip in the water.
There is beautiful place 10 mins hike from Bhagsunag Waterfall. It’s called Siva cafe. It is amazing. I will highly recommend the cafe. It is worth climbing up. It has amazing food, music and magnificent views.
Parking - If you are coming in car, there is car parking before Bhagsunag Temple.

Don't miss to go inside - there is a beautiful lingam with a snake and an unusual pathway inside. <3

Trip route--
Delhi -> Pathankot -> Dalhousie->Khajjiar->Kangra->Mcleoadganj->Dharamshala->Pathankot->Delhi
We went to this on day 5 of our trip. usually you have to walk around 0.5 km to reach from nearest parking station. You need to remove your shoes etc. Its usually 5-10 mts .
Folks take holy dip in small pool area in which natural water comes from mountains.
nothing exciting about this.

Situated at the foot of the Bhagsu waterfall, this temple is unique because of the pool in front of it, which is the water from the Bhagsu falls. Very easy to reach, and a path will take you to the 1.75km Bhagsu falls trek.
