A really big and beautiful beach 12 km south of dirty Kowalam, friendly people and a lot of fisherman with their boats. Worth a visit!!!

Just stay away from this beach. Firstly & most importantly the beach is covered with human faeces. Secondly the large thunderous waves break right on the shoreline making swimming difficult. Finally, there were many rips visible which makes swimming extremely dangerous.

It's an isolated beach near Kovalam in Chowara village . However it's underdeveloped and not properly maintained . Though lesser crowded than Kovalam beach . Sea is rough during monsoons . Only upside is it's a bit peaceful .

Nice and sunny beach with sand and a lot of fisherman boats. Unfortunately quite dirty and with strong waves. Part next to the resorts is cleaned and with paid sunbeds.

The beach is a little isolated but when it comes to peace and serenity, it is great to be here. Very clean and tidy beach, Thanks to the people of Kerala who value the importance of cleanliness.
