From the parking lot for the Deep Creek Trailhead (located just above the campground on the north end of W. Deep Creek Rd, Bryson City, NC) take the main trail approximately 0,2 miles along a fairly smooth trail (strollers with small children may be pushed on this trail) and the falls will be on the right. For those needing a... More

Wide, gravel road to walk to the falls (two other falls in the immediate area). No pets (several people did not realize this). Nice falls coming into the river with areas to sit and enter the river.

We visited several of these falls, all within about 4 miles of Bryson City where we were staying. Of the three that are on these well marked trails, this was our favorite by far.... More

Nice little hike. There's benches to sit and look at the falls. Very nice. Clear water and relaxing sound.

If you read my previous review of Juney Whank, you'll know I'm fluffy and out of shape. Well, we had just completed Juney Whank and decided since we were there, we'd do Tom Branch and Indian Creek Falls. The walk was flat and wide, enough room for a small truck. There is a nice seating area across from the falls... More

Very easy hike to the falls and you get to see people tubing along the way. Worth the hike to see the falls!

Tom Branch Falls is the easiest of three waterfalls in the Deep Creek area of the Smoky Mountains National Park. While there was not much water flowing down the falls the day I went, it's still a short and pleasurable hike on a wide and mostly flat trail. It's an unusual setting as the falls spill into Deep Creek. On... More

Not far from the parking lot, these falls are on the Deep Creek Trail, on other side of the Deep Creek and not to be missed.
