Nubra valley has a very unique geography of mountains, river, desert and land! We get to see double humped camels here, and can enjoy a ride on it. The buddhist monastery on the hill is a spectacular sight to see. The small living town of Nubra welcomes with lots of apple trees and decent hotels to stay. Nubra is close to Siachin heights and hence you come across many troops of army and border security force. Take the pride in saluting them and feel the patriotic thrill.…

Nubra valley is very beautiful place with lots of activities like visiting monastries with a 100 feet statue of Budhdha. Moto Bikes riding in the desert, camel riding. And my personal favourite is there is a scenic place here where there is a natural river and small cute little bridge on top of it where donkeys where grazing. While travelling to Nubra valley from Leh I saw a complete white horse like the unicorn in Harry Potter. There are camps like hotels here and I would recommend staying for a night or 2 at nubra valley.…
