Ruins left in bidar fort of a mosque well structured with 16 pillars as name suggests. A must visit when at fort, however inadequate signages and guides at venue

My Life;My Feet;My Way. A beautiful place to visit. The complete fort is worth a visit but do take out some time for it. At least 3-4 hrs are a must if u are an architecture lover.

Although the mosque is locked, it has great greenery around. Good for photography! We were pleasantly surprised to find a lot of parrots in vicinity. This mosque is within the Bidar Fort compounds. This mosque has had it's glorious past! Did you know, Emperor Aurangzeb offered his prayers here after he annexed Bidar in 17th century?…

Located inside the Bidar Fort, built during 14th century, It's one of the biggest mosques in India but unfortunately you cannot see it from inside as it's locked by ASI. And due to that it's maintenance is compromised although outside garden is maintained.
