This is a trail for experienced hikers as there's a lot of climbing. The terrain is rocky. There was plenty of wildflowers when our group of 13 made our way to the vantage point from which we had a beautiful view of the Serpentine Falls. This was Andi where we had a picnic.

We did this trail with 4 kids, aged between 9 and 12. The ascend was steep but it wasn't impossible. The last 1.3km to the lookout was mostly flat which was a nice break from the incline. Reaching the lookout was amazing. The views from above were spectacular. Serpentine falls looked so small and the air above was so fresh. The descend was a little shaky as the rocks were quite unstable. I recommend finding a nice sturdy stick for stability. The overall trail was great and if you don't mind a bit of a challenge, definitely give it a go.

I don’t think I have ever been to Serpentine Falls despite living within 50kms of the place. We decided to spend the day here and try to climb Baldwin’s Bluff as part of my training to rehab a total knee replacement from 18 months earlier.
The first part of the hike is a bit steep but we managed it easily and the rest of the way to the Bluff was easy going with wonderful displays of wildflowers and a brilliant view overlooking the valley to the sea. I didn’t have my hiking poles with me but managed easily.
There is a really nice picnic / BBQ area, toilets and the falls are an easy walk.
The is a small entry fee to the reserve and a limited number of vehicles that can enter on a given day. The park closes at 5.00pm.

Not really worthwhile from my experience.
The viewpoint at the end was overgrown meaning it was difficult to get any views. The walk itself was nothing special.

A pleasant return 6km walk from Serpentine Falls picnic area.

Also lots of wildflowers.

There are some really steep parts so you will need a reasonable level of fitness however i found the view quite rewarding , took us about 2 hours top to to bottom with a bit of time relaxing up the top
