- Maru D131 contributionsWorth visiting!Although far from Pelling but worth visiting due to its peaceful vibes. The park is huge but there is an electric car service @Rs300 which will take you all the way up to the statue n its temple. There is a cafe called Mom's kitchen runned by Ajay and Chumki very lovely people who made delicious jain food for us. We ate momos, maggi & local gundruk soup n falay. They were eager to serve the best.Kuddos to them!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 20 January 2024
- ShikshaCGurugram (Gurgaon), India2,072 contributionsMust visit in Ravangla…We visited Budha Park on our way from Gangtok to Kalimpong. The park was beautiful and since we had an infant with us their battery operated car which one can get at ₹300 was a good option for us which took us to the top. There is a museum just below the Budha statue and that is a must visit as it depicts the life of Gautam Buddha through paintings. The park is well maintained and has several shops selling souvenirs and eatables as well. It’s a must visit.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 12 April 2024
- Simanto AhmedDhaka Division, Bangladesh9 contributionsBest place in SikkimThe best part about the temple is the view of mountain tops from the platform (after climbing towards the sky from a long flight of stairs) and the enormous meditating buddha statue! You can see the great Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan peaks behind the statue. Aside from that, you can visit the shiva temple on the lower left side when making for the statue. The ticket pricing is a somewhat costly but it’s worth it. There are restaurants and souvenir shops inside the park. Well maintained restrooms! Golf carts are available for elderly people on an added steep price 💸. Best time for visit ,in my opinion, is summer time, especially on evenings! If you’re at Sikkim and not visiting this place, you’re missing out!Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 27 April 2024
- Mindset TravelChennai (Madras), India50 contributionsFantastic placeFantastic views and a wonderful place to visit. Stay a night here to minimize the tiredness as you would need to cover Namchi en route to Pelling or Siliguri. Mom's kitchen inside the park is a fantastic restaurant with awesome views. We are chowmein and momos. It is a pure veg restaurant. 😌Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 May 2024

A serene place, quiet and one can feel calmness within when looking at Buddha. When we went in Dec'21 , it was chill weather. There is a car which takes the visitors around. There is a stall where one can buy souveniers

Artistic depiction of the life of Buddha in gorgeous paintings and précis writings. Unfortunately pictures were not allowed in the temple. I’ll consider this a must visit site in Sikkim. The statue is built with the Kanchenjunga mountains as a backdrop.

be prepared to spend atleast a couple of hours walking around the park. Sadly it started raining heavily within 5 mins of us reaching the park and we could not enjoy it. There are golf cart services offered to take tourists around the park as well.

Don’t skip this place if you are travelling to Pelling or Namchi. This can’t be skipped as it’s just amazing in and around this places. It would take approximately 2hours to enjoy the place and take photographs. There are lots of places to clicks pics in this area.

it is excellent park like other Monastery it is pertinent to Buddhism you can burn through 1-2 hr yet once more in the event that it is excluded from your trip taxi drive will ask additional cash around 1500/ - . Additionally like all vacationer places section ticket is INR 100/ - . Their are numerous money related in Gangtok (Sikkim ) So can choose prior to visiting which one you need to visit. and which are in your travel way.

If you are planning to visit Sikkim, please add this place in your itinerary. A wonderful park in the lap of the Himalayan mountain range. The park is well maintained and clean. The view of the snow-clad mountain peaks from this place is simply out of the world.

We visited only Buddha Park at Ravangla, en route to Pelling from Gangtok. I am not able to comment on Ravangla visit, but a stop at Buddha Park is worth.
Road conditions around Pelling are okay. But the roads from Gangtok to Pelling and from Pelling to Darjelling on which we travelled are very narrow, lot of potholes and very steep at few locations especially near Darjeeling. But the coordination between drivers is perfect and if weather is fine, you can enjoy these journeys.
