OK it is an active place of Christian worship but it also has an historical perspective as well. They receive support for both aspects but seem very hard to engage with on an historical but not religious basis. I sought to see somethings inside the...More

Built in 1800's it is one of the older buildings in the area. The stained glass windows are pleasant but don't match the age of the building with some as recent as the 1970's. On the small side for a Cathedral. 2125

Dragged here by my history yearning wife and found the volunteers informative and knowledgeable. Although a traditional early 19C church its historical significance cannot be undervalued.

Well worth a visit. The volunteers were so helpful in explaining the main features of this old church and very welcoming. A place to rest and reflect in the midst of so much activity.

Built in 1802, this cathedral takes pride of place in Centenary Square. Remarkable yet restrained, this provides great insight into the history of the area.

Beautiful church with a lot of history, great guides that know it all, so many things to read and a lovely place to just ponder.

A lovely old church that represents some of the early history of European colonisation. Beautifully kept, and well explained by the the friendly volunteers. Well worth a visit.
