Pazhassi is one of the very few Kerala kings who fought the British, whereas most of the others sided with the Brits..The museum , eventhough small..provides a glimpse of history and well maintained

I have rated this average because there isn't much to see or do here compared to other spots in Wayanad. If you are around Manathavady city and you love history, then its worth a visit. There is a small museum which doesn't have much to say. There is also a small park where you can take rest.

Do visit it if you are nearby. The scenery around the tomb is amazing. The history is also well documented. Do visit the museum below and please do speak with the official there. He is genuinely helpful and informative, but you need to show him that you are interested in knowing about the displays and the history.

Pazhassi tomb is profound memorial made in the memory in the Veera Pazhassi Raja. Pazhassi Raja is Lion of Kerala and a freedom fighter that revolted against the British for the independence of India. In this tomb is more informative for every person to see the history of Kerala culture. I really like these places in Kerala.

Its the tomb of the valiant king. Nicely maintained with a museum which gives you all the information about the history of the king and his valiant efforts. The surroundings of the tomb are also picturesque. One can come here and spend some time. Worth coming.

A piece of History. Must visit. Slippery approach roads. Chaos due to Election campaigns. Non Helpful Policemen.. I can go on about the negatives, but being a Kerala born Non Resident Indian..I was proud to show my son a part of his rich heritage.
