A boat ride down the Kabini river at dawn is an experience like no other! One can marvel at the lovely colours the sky turns into and the hundreds of species of birds all around you. Swifts, eagles, vultures, snake birds, kingfishers etc are flying all around. If you're lucky you can also spot otters gamboling around, or a crocodile... More

Beautiful river - lots of fabulous resorts around it - must do a coracle ride - one can often spot otters late evening/early night on these rides.

this is one of favourite places in India. Dont miss the boat safari you see thousands of birds and crocodiles and playful otters :) we even spotted a tiger on the banks of the river,lucky us!

best place to stay near this river is the RED Earth hotels , it is facing the river and has range of exciting activities and the cafe is facing this river

This is a nice and quite a big river. I enjoy just sitting beside the river so had a good time. Not much to do around though.

My title is good enough to explain the beauty of this river. This river flows through beautiful dense forests of Karnataka and finally joins cauvery. The area which it flows through is very rich in wildlife and is highly populated with deer, elephants, tigers along with some unique species of animals and birds. went along the mud road which runs along the kabini, it was a great ride, you can also get to the river for a dip at many .locations. is an out of the world experience and very senic
