His kindness and his humor make us feel good all day long.
Sabu knows everything about nature and the people from minorities.
The first time I met Sabu was in 2016, I hope I will meet him still many times.

Very special place. The tour proposes to visit communities that we would not have had the opportunity to know without the support of Sabu, our guide

What a pleasure it was to be guided by Sabu in Wyanad ! Such a nice guy with a lot of knowledge of the region, the campaign, the forest and the plants.
We visited the tea plantations with him and also a village where a tribe originally leaving in the forest collecting honey in the trees are now settled and work in the rice fields. Sabu who has worked with them knows their special language. It was a great experience ! Sabu is also a botanist he loves telling you about plants and fruit and the ways to use them for your health problems.
He also brought us for lunch to a nice family who served us the typical Sadya from Kerala, so delicious!
I definitely recommend Sabu as your guide, he was the best one in our Kerala trip. Thank you so much again Sabu for having made our visit so interesting

We have contacted Sabu during the day, and the same night at our arrival, he met us near our hotel to explain what we could do with him, which was great because we struggled to have informations elsewhere! After a brief chat, Sabu knew what we were interested in and tailored a perfect day for us, getting a car with driver and taking us to many different places around. His English is perfect, his French pretty good, making all his explanations about birds, plants, médecine and culture very understandable… Sabu taught us sooooo much in a day, in a very funny way two ( he’s a real clown!!) and wasn’t scared to stretch until sundown to make sure we’ll see the wild life!! Bonus: if you are minimum 2, it cheaper than going by yourself and rent the jeep in the sanctuary!!! Highly recommend this guy!!

Sabu was our guide for the day when we stayed in Wayanad. He was a wonderful guide, he tailored the day to what we wanted to do, so we visited local waterfalls, we did some birdwatching combined with a walk through the countryside and we visited a tribal village. He's extremely knowledgeable, he's obviously has considerable expertise when it comes to both animal and plant life. He also has a great sense of humour, we had a real laugh with him. We wish he'd been available to be our guide for longer. Thanks Sabu!

Outstanding nature tour with Sabu. He is a friendly and pleasant guide. He took me on an interesting native plant walk through a paddy that was teaming with birds, local people and mongoose. Even was able to process pepper with my feet with a local man. Fun. Then we saw deer and langurs. And, best of all we saw ten elephant including two babies. That was spectacular!

Sabu provides the most wonderful insight into the flora and fauna, with knowledge that can only have come from a lifetime of experience and passion. We were skeptical of a village walk, when we were looking for elephants but please put your faith in Sabu he will guide you. The elephants only come out near dusk and the village walk was beautiful and insightful. It really was a wonderful afternoon that my whole family enjoyed. I wish him the best in his endeavours into Ayurvedic medicine as his understanding of the healing properties of plants, which he shares along the tour, is extensive.

Fascinating, informative and entertaining! Sabu spent an afternoon with us taking us to a local village to meet two of the elders. Along the way telling stories, spotting birds and giving us a natural tattoo!😂

Sabu, the guide, provides a fascinating insight into the wildlife, agriculture and particularly the botany of the Wayanad region. He has a gift of making the information accessible and memorable and an excellent sense of humour! His tour of the local villages and farms was the highlight of our visit to wayanad. We would highly recommend him as a guide and if we return to this region the first phone call will be to Sabu. We have also been inspired to try to improve our flexibility!
