Located 15 km southwest of Kalpetta, is the Varambetta Mosque which dates back to as early as 300 years ago & is one of the oldest mosques in the Wayanad district. This is not a must seen place in Wayanad.

One of the oldest Muslim culture. One of the oldest architecture in Wayanad. Related to a history of a sufi saint. Yearly Nercha festival is an important participation of old sunni muslims.
